How often do i have to apply?
All inquiries are kept for the remainder of the year, if not matched within 2025, you will be required to re-apply in December for consideration in 2026.
How do you select the recipients of the service dogs?
Handlers are selected based on the best fit for the physical and mental capabilities of the dogs we have available.
How much does training cost?
Training is offered free to disabled clients who purchase a qualified puppy from our breeding program. Therapy dog training and certification offered at a discount to handlers who purchase a pet dog or puppy. Some restrictions apply.
i already have a dog, can they be trained?
Absolutely! We offer group classes for every level of dog and handler. We also accept a limited number of dogs into our board and train program. The dogs must pass temperament testing and be potty trained to use the bathroom on command prior ro entering training. We cannot help with potty training, but we do have outside trainers we work with that can help with that if there is a need.
Are there payment plans available?
We do offer the option to pay for your puppy over the course of their time in training. Payment in full is required before delivery of your service dog.
Are there any other fees?
The handler is responsible for the care and maintenance of the puppy from the date of purchase. That inlcudes all food, treats, bully sticks, toys, training tools, gear, and bedding. This also includes age appropriate vaccines and deworming. These expenses have been broken down, combined and then averaged out to $300 per month. Testing fees, health screenings, and grooming as necessary are charged seperately, directly to the vendor.
Will my dog be a legitimate service dog?
When you take posession of your dog they will have met the ADA requirements for a service dog and have 3 levels of AKC Canine Good Citizen Testing, and at least one level of AKC Trick Dog. We also will keep record of your dog on our service dog registry, a first-of-its-kind resource for service dog handlers.
What if my dog doesn't complete training?
If your service dog candidate is washed from the program for any reason we will find the next available dog with the right temperament that can successfully complete the tasks needed and immediately begin training. While it is not an ideal situation, the reality is we are working with living souls and we ultimately have to make the best decision for each dog. Forcing a dog into a position they aren't meant for can lead to an early retirement, and we ain to keep our teams working together for close to a decade.
