### Tested Service Dog Registry ℠
The Tested Service Dog Registry ℠, operated by Lighthouse Canine Learning Center, provides an online way to verify a dog's registration within our private registry. Each registered dog can be verified by scanning the QR code on its registration card or identification materials to access its registry listing.
## What Does Verification Confirm?
A successful verification confirms that the dog's registration information matches our registry records and identifies its status within our program. Registered teams have completed our established evaluation process and met the requirements for recognition in our registry.
Important Information
The Tested Service Dog Registry ℠ is a private, voluntary evaluation and recognition program. It is not a government registry or an ADA-required certification. Registration does not independently establish legal service dog status or grant additional public access rights.
Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), service dogs are individually trained to perform specific work or tasks related to a person's disability. Businesses and other covered entities generally cannot require registration papers or certification as a condition of public access.
Our mission is to promote responsible training, accountability, and well-prepared service dog teams through structured evaluation and recognition.
Can I browse all of the dogs in the registry?
Due to privacy laws, we do not allow people to view the complete list of dogs in our database.We do have some great owner-submission photos, coming soon in our gallery.
